Michael began teaching professionally in 1972. All popular styles of American music on Guitar, Bass Guitar, Voice and Piano, Keyboards and Studio recording and production. Michael produced an co-wrote for Shaun Hopper CD. A Production for Nicole Desrosiers, obtained an artist management contract with Sony Records 2006. Michael is Music director at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pinellas Park and Lead Vocalist and Lead Guitarist of The Deacon Blues Band. Michael has performed with Della Reese, John Lamb, Mary McPartland, Al Downing, Mike Scaglione, Louis Bellson. Many gigs on video with Shaun Hopper/Michael Marth on YouTube.com. Before the shutdown related to Covid 19, Michael on regular rotation at the Hard Rock Café, Tampa, Fla. 2018, 2019 and 2020. Michael is the former President of the Tampa Bay Fingerstyle Guitar Guild. Michaels’ students have gone on to music professionally include Joe Porter (Jazz Bassist Maynard Ferguson, Players School of Music) David Mara, All County Bass and Guitar, The Alexander, Philip and Jason Charo, Ruth Eckerd Jazz band, Gibb for the performing arts.
